Ruth Herring owner and Founder of HerringBone Studio, Unique Designs For The Creative Mind for over 30 years and Youth Market Palace Organization affilation at Greater New Haven Business and Professional Association two years.

"(HBS)" Fashions are for men, women and children of all shapes and sizes.  Ruth is the sewing director for City of New Haven seniors and New Haven Board of Education youth in the Greater New Haven Communities.  She teaches seniors and youth basic sewing, including sewing through math fundamentals of hands, machine sewing, cutting, measurement.  She also teaches quilting, alteration, dressmaking and crafts. 

Most recently she was recognized by the state of Connecticuat for her outstanding work as a female entrepreneur and by local newspapers for both her fashion design and community service.  She is a 2009 graduate of the Parent Leadership Training Institute.
